T-Rex Partners with Team Red, White & Blue in Support of Local Veterans
As part of our T-Rex commitment to supporting American veterans, T-Rex recently awarded a donation of over $70,000 to the DC Chapter of the national non-profit, Team Red, White, & Blue.
“We have always believed in supporting American veterans and Team RWB has given us a platform to do that. Their programs provide veterans with social and emotional support through exercise-oriented events and training. This partnership gives our employees a chance to engage with local veterans in fun and healthy ways,” said Valerie Utsey, Chief Human Resources Officer at T-Rex.
T-Rex consulted with veterans within the company who are familiar with Team RWB’s Washington chapter. Everyone at T-Rex was attracted to the mission of supporting veterans as they separate from the military. Understanding that this can be a difficult time of transition for many veterans, there is great respect and appreciation for the teamwork and camaraderie that Team RWB’s family-oriented events facilitate.
“Creating quality relationships through shared physical challenges is key to improving veteran well-being and is the core of what we do at Team Red, White & Blue,” said Megan King, Chief Advancement Officer. “We’re excited to bring our members together with T-Rex employees to amplify our mission across the DC area.”
T-Rex looks forward to the many physical fitness activities where employees and their families can celebrate spring while honoring veterans. A list of Team RWB events can be found at https://www.teamrwb.org/chapter/team-rwb-washington-dc/
