Inc. Magazine recently unveiled their 34th annual list of America’s fastest growing private companies, the Inc. 5000. T-Rex Corporation ranked number 1,917 nationally and number 38 in Maryland, with a three-year sales growth of 206%. There were over 5,000 companies considered and the 2015 Inc. 5000 is the most competitive crop in the list’s history. The average company on the list achieved a three-year growth percentage rate of 490%. The 2015 Inc. 5000 is ranked according to the percentage revenue growth when comparing 2011 to 2014. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2011. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2014. The minimum revenue required for 2011 is $100,000; the minimum for 2014 is $2 Million.
