T-Rex is Supporting the Defense Health Agency

Date: September 6, 2022

Since 2012, Health IT has been a core component of T-Rex’s strategy and portfolio.  Although most of our recent press and exposure has been focused on T-Rex’s success as the Technical Integrator for the 2020 Census, Health IT continues to figure prominently in our past, present, and future.  We are proud of our legacy supporting the important missions of the healthcare community. T-Rex is equally as excited about our current work supporting the Defense Health Agency (DHA) and our future work in service of the Federal Health IT sector.

At the Department of Defense (DOD), T-Rex is supporting the DHA in the deployment of their mission-critical system for managing healthcare records for the DOD – Defense Healthcare Management System (DHMS). DHMS is transforming the delivery of health care and advanced data sharing through a modernized Electronic Health Record (EHR) system for service members, veterans, and their families.

Across programs within DHMS, T-Rex is integral to the EHR deployment and sustainment – a managed solution that leverages innovative processes, methods, and best-in-class methodologies from the private sector to enable the entire DHMS team to deliver world-class technology. In addition, T-Rex is helping DHMS develop methodologies to deliver Operational Medicine products that extend the EHR capabilities for use in field operations.
