T-Rex Solutions announced today it has been awarded a 5-year prime contract with the U.S. Department of Education (ED) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) to support the development of its Portfolio of Integrated Value-Oriented Technologies – Hosting (PIVOT-H). PIVOT-H is an essential part of ED’s PIVOT vision, which seeks innovation, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness.
The PIVOT programs aim to provide integrated and secure IT services across various platforms and locations to fulfill ED’s mission of providing “world-class services to schools, students, and their families.” T-Rex Solutions was awarded this $52M single-award Unrestricted contract. As the prime contractor on PIVOT-H, T-Rex will be responsible for migrating applications to a multi-cloud environment and performing hosting, operations and maintenance, network, and security tasks.
