T-Rex Solutions, LLC announced today it won a 2020 Amazon Web Services (AWS) Public Sector Partners Award. AWS Partner Network (APN) public sector partners selected T-Rex as the recipient of the “Most Customer Obsessed Mission Based Win – Federal Civilian.”

“T-Rex was honored to be selected by the U.S. Census Bureau as the Technical Integrator charged with its IT modernization, and we’re thrilled to be recognized by AWS for building a cloud solution to facilitate the first online response option for the U.S. Census in 2020,” said Jason Keplinger, T-Rex’s Chief Technology and Innovation Officer.

Winners were selected based on their innovative solutions and results provided to public sector clients. The U.S. Census Bureau selected T-Rex to design, implement and operate its hybrid-cloud infrastructure that enabled a highly available, resilient and secure online response option for the 2020 Census. T-Rex migrated 18 mission-critical systems to the cloud. Utilizing more than 30 AWS services, Census and T-Rex built a cloud solution that integrated a System of Systems to support over 600,000 concurrent sessions.

AWS worked with theCUBE to host the 2020 AWS Public Sector Partner Awards, where winners and public sector customers were interviewed.
